A Crediton man who's claiming compensation after being exposed to asbestos in his former work is appealing for his former workmates to help by giving his lawyers evidence.
46 year old Mark Piper has been diagnosed with an incurable form of cancer, mesothelioma.
He used to work for Michael Thorne Construction who were based in Crediton but are no longer trading - however his solicitors plan to make the claim from their insurance company.
They want to hear from anyone who worked there at the same time as Mr Piper and who can give information on the exposure to asbestos and what protective equipment was given to employees.
