A man was spotted with a hammer
A man has been arrested after being spotted with a hammer on Exeter High Street.
Police were called this lunchtime [14 June], with armed officers involved in the search.
A police spokesperson said: "We were called at around 1:10pm on Friday, June 14 following reports of a male with a weapon on Exeter High Street.
"A 25-year-old man was arrested for possession of offensive weapon."
