But it was plastic and being used as part of a photo shoot
Armed police were called to Bull Meadow Park, near Hotel du Vin at around 3.15pm to reports of a group of people with a gun.
But when officers arrived, it turned out to be a promotional film being made using a fake rubber gun.
They issued a warning on Twitter saying "Just a heads up. If you're going to do a promotional photo shoot in a public park, in a major City centre during the summer holidays with a rubber handgun it MIGHT be a good idea to give us a call to let us know first".
