Officers are still appealing for witnesses
A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of rape and sexual assault.
It follows an incident on St Germans Road in Exeter in the early hours of Wednesday 13 November, after which the road was cordoned off.
Police said last week that the female victim was being supported by specially trained officers.
The man remains in custody at this time, and officers are still appealing for witnesses.
Anyone with any information is urged to call 101, or email 101@dc.police.uk, quoting log number 205 of 14/11/19.
