Fire believed to be deliberate
A fire in central Exeter on Friday evening is believed to be arson.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue were called to a property in Magdalen Road at 9.20 p.m. and immediately called in police because of the suspicious nature of the blaze.
One fire engine from Middlemoor joined another from the base in the centre of the city, Danes Castle, to tackle the fire, which centred on building materials on the ground floor, which has been left several damaged.
There are no reports of injuries or details of suspects.
