Four people have been arrested in Exeter overnight, after 66 sites around the city centre were graffitied.
Police were called just before midnight to Exeter Quay following reports of a group stealing from a shop.
Officers arrived and found the group spray-painting. They fled the scene, but were found a short time later.
Two 19-year-old men were arrested on suspicion of criminal damage, whilst two 17-year-old males were arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and possession of drugs.
A further search found 66 tags had been painted in the city centre and quay areas and enquiries are ongoing.
