A Devon MP has launched a stinging attack on the organisation responsible for delivering superfast broadband - saying it's failing in its job when it comes to rural areas.
Neil Parish accused the quango of 'cherry-picking' the towns and cities, where it's easy to introduce the service.
The Conservative MP for Tiverton and Honiton pulled no punches when addressing the chief executive of Broadband Delivery UK Chris Townsend at a hearing in the Commons.
He said while BDUK has a target of 95 per cent coverage by 2017, 92 per cent of his constituency is missing out.
He's particularly concerned because farmers will soon ONLY be able to make claims for EU subsidies online - and he told BDUK they'll have a riot on their hands if fast broadband isn't introduced soon.
