Devon County Council's adoption team has won a major award. It's been named 'Local Adoption Authority Adoption Team of the Year 2014' by the British Association of Adoption and Fostering.
The service was recognised for its empathetic and creative approach to recruiting and supporting adoptive families, as well as its dealings with birth parents and the children themselves.
