The August Bank Holiday weekend is upon and for councils across Devon, the Bank Holidays cause disruption to their usual services – not least the waste and recycling collections.
Here’s everything you need to know about the Bank Holiday waste and recycling collections in Devon and when your bins will be collected.
Exeter
There will be no waste or recycling collections on Monday, August 31 due to the Bank Holiday. Collections will take place instead on Saturday, September 5. All other collections next week will take place as usual.
Torridge
There will be no waste or recycling collections on Monday, August 31, due to the Bank Holiday. Collections will take place one day later than usual and will return to usual on Monday, September 7,
North Devon
There will be no waste or recycling collections on Monday, August 31, due to the Bank Holiday. Collections will take place one day later than usual and will return to usual on Monday, September 7,
Teignbridge
There will be no waste or recycling collections on Monday, August 31, due to the Bank Holiday. Collections will take place one day later than usual and will return to usual on Monday, September 7,
East Devon
There will be no waste or recycling collections on Monday, August 31, due to the Bank Holiday. Collections will take place one day later than usual and will return to usual on Monday, September 7,
South Hams
There will be no waste or recycling collections on Monday, August 31, due to the Bank Holiday. Collections will take place one day later than usual and will return to usual on Monday, September 7.
West Devon
There will be no waste or recycling collections on Monday, August 31, due to the Bank Holiday. Collections will take place one day later than usual and will return to usual on Monday, September 7.
Mid Devon
There will be no waste or recycling collections on Monday, August 31, due to the Bank Holiday. Collections will take place one day later than usual and will return to usual on Monday, September 7. Bulky waste collections due to take place on Monday, August 31, will take place on Tuesday, September 1.
