Lots of electrical items seized
A man and a woman have appeared in court by video conference in connection with a series of residential burglaries in Barnstaple.
Martyn Oliver, 47, who lives in the town, pleaded not guilty after been charged with four counts of burglary at the virtual hearing. He was remanded in custody to appear at Exeter Crown Court on Thursday 6 August.
Jade Robinson, 26, from Barnstaple, pleaded not guilty after being charged with handling stolen goods and was released on conditional bail to appear at the crown court on the same date.
Over the weekend, police said they'd seized lots of property, including electrical items.
