Witnesses of Barnstaple crash needed
An 84-year-old man has potentially serious injuries following a collision between two vehicles on New Taw Bridge in Barnstaple on Wednesday morning.
Police are asking for anyone who witnessed the crash at around 11.20 am or who has dash cam footage to get in touch. The road is the main A361 The injured lady was taken to North Devon District hospital where she is being assessed.
Local police together with specialist officers from the roads policing team attended the scene, closed the road and launched a full forensic examination.
