A controversial housing development on green land near Exeter will finals be built.
The development, which is the biggest of its kind for Teignbridge council, will see 15 hundred homes be built on land near the Devon motel. There'll also be a GP surgery, a community hub, and a primary school.
At a meeting in January, councillors unanimously agreed to extend the time limits for signing the s106 agreement until April 27, 2018. That date had passed without a decision notice being issued, or the application going back in front of planners to ask for a further time extension. But it has now been confirmed that the applicant has signed the s106 legal agreement.
Councillor Humphrey Clemens, Teignbridge District Council’s Executive member for Planning and Housing, said: “The Applicants signed the Section 106 prior to the 27 April and the decision notice will be issued in due course.”
