Next of kin informed
The search for a man who went missing from Newton Abbot last week has been called off after a body was found.
Police asked for help to locate Kenneth Hinkley, 65, saying they were concerned for his welfare.
Mr Hinkley had taken his car, and police thought he would still be in Devon.
But on Sunday, a man's body was located in Buckfastleigh.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner. Formal identification is due to take place and Mr Hinkley's next of kin have been informed of the development.
