Police received a number of calls of a moped being driven dangerously
A 14-year-old boy has been arrested, after the police helicopter was seen flying over Exeter this afternoon [21 February].
In a statement, a spokesperson said they had “received a number of calls of a moped being driven dangerously in the Exwick area of Exeter over the past couple of days and have been carrying out a number of enquires since”.
“Officers were called at 2pm today to further reports of a moped being driven dangerously and the rider without a helmet.
“Units including the helicopter are carrying out enquires to locate the moped and rider.
“Whilst carrying out their enquires, officers have arrested a 14-year-old boy in connection to this matter.”
