Lad attacked by man filming youngsters
Police are appealing for witnesses of an assault in Plymouth that left a 16-year-old boy needing stitches after he was hit in the face with a broken bottle.
The incident happened at around 10.20pm on Saturday 10 October.
It is alleged that a man was filming a group of young people gathering in the covered promenade and was asked to stop by the victim.The teen was then assaulted, struck with a broken bottle and suffered a deep cut to his face which required hospital treatment and stitches.
The suspect is described as an adult male with dark hair, aged in his 30s, around 5ft 10in in height, and of slim build. Around 20 young people were in the area at the time who may have witnessed the assault.
