Both drivers uninjured
A 6-year-old passenger has been taken to Bristol Children's Hospital with potentially life-changing injuries after a collision yesterday (28 August).
It happened at a set of crossroads at Wheatley Road and Highmoor near Week St Mary at 5pm and involved a black VW Tiguan and a red Nissan Qashqai.
The drivers of the two cars came away unscathed.
The road was closed for several hours whilst investigations took place.
Officers are asking for witnesses to come forward via the police website or by calling 101, quoting occurrence 50240217835.
