It was due to close this evening, but no further work is required
Overnight closures on Bridge Road in Exeter which were provisionally planned for tonight (Tuesday 13 November) and Wednesday night (Wednesday 14 November) are no longer needed.
Devon County Council has confirmed that remedial work to correct minor faults/snagging issues from the recent improvement scheme, and work to install expansion joints on the railway bridge and Countess Wear Flood relief bridge, have been substantially completed over the past few evenings.
The road will now be open, and any outstanding work will be carried out overnight using a single lane closure which will not impact on late evening traffic flows.
