A burglar who broke into a house in East Devon left behind a distinctive woolly hat - and a sandwich.
The intruder stole an iPad and a pair of brand new trainers from the house in Seaton.
But police think the culprit could be traced if anyone recognises the unusual hat they left behind.
The burglar also abandoned a Tesco tortilla wrap still in its packaging.
