An Ottery St Mary bus driver has been nominated for an award for being the best in Devon by his regular passengers.
Devon county council invited local residents to vote for drivers who provided exceptionally good service.
Colin Johnson, who drives the 381 service in Ottery, was described as cheerful, patient and helpful, and passengers said riding on his bus was a pleasure.
He didn't win the top prize but was commended in a surprise ceremony at County Hall this week.
