A flock of sheep will be driven through the centre of Exeter this lunchtime - to celebrate the chef Michael Caines receiving the Freedom of the City.
He'll steer the sheep from Dix's Field into Princesshay and the High Street at about 1.45 after the official ceremony at the Guild hall.
Mr Caines told Radio Exe he hasn't got much experience of sheep herding - although he is used to herding chefs and waiters.
And he thinks perhaps his skills at cooking lamb might be a help - as he can whisper 'mint sauce' in a threatening tone if any sheep dares to stray.
