A protest will be held today calling for Exeter City Council to save the green space beside a closed sports centre for community use.
Earlier this year the authority decided to controversially shut Clifton Hill after snow damaged its roof. Parts of the site could be sold and redeveloped.
Campaigners are planning to protest outside Exeter's Civic Centre on Paris Street this afternoon in advance of the council's executive meeting.
They're planning to dress in green and hand over a petition with one thousand eight hundred signatures to a representative of the authority.
