Parents whose children are becoming violent or abusive towards them are being urged to seek help - in a campaign launched today in Exeter.
It aims to widen the perception of domestic abuse to include any threatening or violent behaviour between family members.
Since 2011 there have been two cases in Devon, where parents were killed by their grown-up children.
Anyone whose child is threatening or controlling them is urged to seek expert help from the domestic violence service on 0345 155 1074.
