The man who invented text messaging will be the keynote speaker at the launch today of an 'invest in Exeter' campaign at the Science Park.
Dr Ian Pearson will be predicting national trends in technology and society - and how they might affect Exeter's growth as a centre of excellence in innovation and science.
Also speaking is a representative from the Met Office who'll explain how the arrival of its 97 million pound supercomputer will benefit Exeter.
