Elderly passenger climbs free
Emergency services were called to Landkey, Devon last week after a tractor collided with a car on a country lane.
Photos shared by Barnstaple Fire Station, via their Facebook page, show the car standing on its bonnet wedged between the tractor and the bank on the side of the road.
On arrival, the emergency services found one elderly male passenger still inside the car. The vehicle was very well stabilised between the bank and the tractor, so the passenger managed to climb free of the vehicle with a little assistance.
After the incident, Barnstaple Fire Station urged drivers to be cautious on Devon's rural roads: "As you may have noticed, this time of year is extremely active for our farmers and there are a large number of big agricultural vehicles on the road.
"As we all start to venture out again with restrictions easing please bear this in mind and drive safely."
