The health watchdog says it'll continue working to ensure that a local care home improves its standards - or ceases to operate.
All the residents of Angela Court in Tipton St John were moved to alternative accommodation in February after an inspection by the Care Quality Commission found several failings.
The home, run by PSP Healthcare Limited, remains empty but hasn't closed.
The company is currently seeking planning permission for a five million pound redevelopment, and says staff are being given specialist training in treating people with dementia.
