They've been taken to hospital.
Fire crews were called to the scene at around 12.30pm this lunchtime (Wednesday 21st August).
Crews from Tavistock and a Special Rescue Team from Camels Head, Plymouth, were sent to the scene, but say they had to walk approx. 3/4 of a mile through the Gorge to locate the casualty.
It's thought they suffered a broken ankle and were taken to hospital after being stretchered out of the Gorge.
