Centre offers cold-weather shelter for rough sleepers

With wintry weather predicted over the next few days, an Exeter centre helping homeless people will be on standby to offer emergency overnight accommodation.

The Met Office is forecasting snow and sleet, and temperatures of minus two or three in some parts of Devon.

St Petrocks in Exeter city centre doesn't usually provide beds for the night, but does open its doors during particularly cold weather  to people who would otherwise be sleeping rough.
