Shop workers in Exeter city centre are being offered a new chaplaincy service - to provide a listening ear to any problems they want to talk about..
It's being launched today and will see a team of chaplains from local churches visiting shops regularly.
The team leader, the Reverend Norman Wallwork, says they've had special training to understand the retail environment, which they know can be stressful.
The chaplains say they won't distract staff if they're busy with customers.
