Woman also has life threatening injuries
Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious crash in the village of Bere Alston yesterday afternoon (Monday 15th July).
Emergency services were called to the scene after the collision involving a bus and a Vauxhall Corsa on the B3257.
The driver of the Vauxhall Corsa, a local woman in her 20’s was airlifted to Derriford Hospital with life threatening injuries.
There were two children in the car a; a 3-year-old girl who was taken to Derriford Hospital with minor injuries and a 21-month-old girl airlifted to Bristol Children’s Hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the bus was uninjured and two passengers were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
The road was closed in total for six and a half hours for a full forensic investigation
