Jake Taylor reaches milestone against Port Vale
Exeter City captain Jake Taylor made his 300th club appearance against Port Vale on Tuesday night. Unfortunately for the midfielder, he marked the milestone with a 3-1 defeat - which ended Exeter's 10-game unbeaten run - but the Grecians remain second in the League Two table.
City's skipper, who started his career at Reading where he made 31 appearances, has played more than 150 matches for the Grecians.
Taylor will be hoping to bounce back on Saturday against league leaders Swindon Town - who also lost 3-1 on Tuesday night. More than 1,500 Exeter supporters have already secured their away tickets for the top of the table clash.
