The pedestrian who died in a road accident in Exeter on Saturday has been named as 77 year old Eric Carnell, of Bartholemew Street West.
He was in collision with a lorry in Fore Street at about 1pm and died soon afterwards in hospital.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the accident which led to Fore Street being closed for six hours.
