An Exeter primary school and its head teacher have been chosen to join a national initiative helping other schools to improve.
Wynstream Primary in Burnthouse Lane has been described by OFSTED as having an outstanding climate for learning, with pupils displaying exemplary attitudes to lessons.
Its head teacher Tracy Hannon has now been appointed to the role of National Leader of Education, meaning she'll be trained to help struggling schools raise their standards and then she and her staff will work with them to do just that.
