A prisoner at Exeter jail has hit out at the way inmates are treated there.
Gary Nash has written to Inside Time, the national newspaper for prisoners, to say something must have gone seriously wrong for there to be five deaths at the jail this year. He says the lives of five families have been wrecked...yet the prison still goes about its daily business of treating prisoners like animals.
Elizabeth Moody, the deputy prisons ombudsman, says they've investigated Exeter Prison and found it's good at caring for its inmates.
