Devon and Cornwall's Police and Crime Commissioner is to lead a national crackdown on drink related crime.
Tony Hogg will chair a cross party group of Commissioners campaigning for better legislation and education, and working with the health and voluntary sector.
He's already made the issue a priority in Devon and Cornwall, but says there's a need to bring PCCs together to send a clear and powerful united message to the national decision-makers.
