Town and parish councils in east Devon are being invited to apply for money from a pot of cash set aside for schemes that could benefit communities.
The district and county councils have contributed to the kitty which stands at a total of a hundred and 15 thousand pounds.
Each parish can apply for up to £1.10 for every resident listed on the electoral roll.
Applications for a share of the money must be made jointly by two or more parishes, and could be for funding events, networks or buying items needed by the community.
