People targeted by low-level offenders in Devon can now decide how they're dealt with - which may be apologising, doing community work or agreeing to change their behaviour.
It follows a public consultation on the various options available.
The 'community remedies' will be imposed on people who've committed minor crimes such as vandalism or anti-social behaviour.
