No suspicious circumstances
A body has been found following a search around Braunton for a vulnerable missing 79-year-old man.
David Lambert from Braunton who was last seen at midday on Friday near the village of Georgeham. He suffered from short term memory loss and confusion.
Twenty-four hours later, police reported that a man's body, believed to be Mr Lambert, had been found and his next of kin informed. There are no suspicious circumstances. Mr Lamber's family have thanked everyone who supported them at such a difficult time.
A dedicated Facebook group with over 600 members helped co-ordinate the search.
