There's been a sharp decline in the number of young people donating blood in Exeter.
Three years ago the city had around a thousand registered donors aged 17 to 24 - by 2012 the number was down by almost half.
The figures, from the NHS Blood and Transplant Service, also show a decline in young donors in the East and Mid Devon districts.
That trend has been continuing in recent months, and now a campaign's being launched to try and reverse it..
