The Kier group is looking to cut costs
A national construction company is cutting 12-hundred jobs nationally as it looks to reduce costs.
The Kier group is currently repairing Exeter's Riverside Leisure Centre and building the new multi million pound leisure centre.
It is also selling its home building business, Kier Living, and other services such as rubbish and recycling units.
A spokesman for the city council says they don't anticipate an impact on the two schemes.
