Council calls on benefit fraud councillor to resign

Pressure is mounting on a mid Devon councillor who's been convicted of benefit fraud to resign.

Kevin Wilson, representing Cranmore in Tiverton, received a suspended jail sentence after admitting to the offence in court
Last night the full council supported a motion calling on him to step down - although some people feel he's been dealt with by the courts and is now being subjected to a witch hunt.
