Independent checks are continuing today on the fleet of vehicles operated by Exeter's Carmel Coaches - which had its licence revoked this week over safety concerns.
The company plans to appeal against the ruling.
Carmel runs several school buses in the Exeter area and throughout Devon, for the county council, and although it's lost its licence, it's continuing to operate them until the end of July - although many schools and parents aren't happy about that.
A Carmel coach was involved in the fatal crash in Cornwall last month in which two local women died - but no safety defects were found in that vehicle and the investigation pre-dated the accident.
