Devon county council's being asked not to let badger culling take place on any of its land.
A formal motion's being put to the Cabinet of councillors this morning by the Labour group, who say the cull in Somerset and Gloucestershire isn't working AND is proving more difficult and costly than the Government anticipated.
The council owns several farms in Devon where the cull could be implemented if extended outside the pilot area.
