Adam hid the ring between a tray of moths and a stone carving!
Adam wanted to propose to Lucy at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum because “it’s where we went on our first date. We had a great time and loads of laughs. We have been pretty much inseparable since that day. It will now always be a special place for us.”
On Sunday, Lucy thought the couple were meeting friends whose son is doing a school project about the Romans.
On passing the displays in the central courtyard she was surprised to see a very modern-looking diamond ring tucked between a tray of moths and a medieval stone carving.
The caption read: "Dear Lucy, It was here that my life forever changed for the better. Would you do me the honour of being my wife?"
Lucy said yes!
Adam says: “I’m very lucky to have Lucy in my life and RAMM was the perfect place to ask her to marry me.”
