The number of crimes committed in Devon have fallen slightly over the last 12 months, according to police figures released this morning - but they've failed to meet their crime reduction target of two per cent.
In the Exeter and mid and east Devon area there's been a big reduction in burglaries, criminal damage and vehicle crime.
Domestic abuse and sex crimes have risen - this may be because more are being reported, but police say they're working hard to reduce the rate.
