A Dartmoor Search & Rescue Team discovered the body
A Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team discovered the body of a man in an unrelated rescue operation on Saturday (21st August).
The team were called to help a 17-year-old, who felt unwell on her Duke of Edinburgh assignment.
On route, they discovered a body at the Eylesbarrow track, near Nun's Cross. Police and Ambulance attended the scene, but sadly the gentleman was confirmed dead.
Writing on Facebook, Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team said: "Our thoughts are with the family and friends at this time."
The death is not being treated as suspicious, confirm police.
