Exeter police are investigating an accident in which a female cyclist was seriously injured.
She was found lying in the road unconsious at the junction of Honiton Road and Lower Hill Barton Road at about quarter to six yesterday morning.
The woman in her 20s was taken to hospital with severe head injuries.
Police are keen to trace the driver of a car seen exiting Lower Hill Barton Road and turning left towards Sowton at the relevant time.
