Detailed plans have been announced this afternoon for the project to uncover Exeter's Roman baths and turn them into a stunning visitor attraction.
Exeter Cathedral is applying for 8.7 million pounds in Heritage Lottery funding towards the 12.8 million pound scheme.
Today saw the unveiling of designs and artists' impressions of how the baths would be put on show in an underground visitor centre, with interactive displays and multi-media presentations.
