Boy, 14, appears at Exeter Crown Court
A 14-year-old boy has appeared at Exeter Crown Court on Tuesday charged with attempting to murder a member of his family.
The incident is said to have occurred at a town in North Devon on Tuesday 1 September. Further details have not been released and the boy cannot be named because of his age.
Judge Peter Johnson adjourned the case whilst the boy undergoes a psychiatric assessment. The teenager has been remanded into the care of Devon County Council.
