The celebration of farming, food and the countryside is on for the next 3 days.
Among the events on show is the Australian stunt show Kangaroo Kids, which is a display of quad bike aerobatics.There will be a Grand Parade of Livestock on Friday and Saturday afternoons.
There will also be plenty of animals – up to 600 beef and dairy cattle, more than 1,400 sheep and hundreds of goats, guinea pigs and hens and ducks.
More than 95,000 people are expected to visit the show.
