Agatha Christie did like a twist!
Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple, have been reimagined in the style of Mr. Men and Little Miss.
Two new books hit the shelves today (23 October): 'Mr. Poirot: Mischief on the Nile' and 'Little Miss Marple: Muddle at the Vicarage.'
The classic mysteries have been twisted into humorous tales, featuring the charm and wit of the original series, but with no actual murders.
It's the first time her books have been adapted for children, with the new series aimed at preschool and primary-aged children.
The project celebrates 100 years since the publication of her first novel, and two more adaptations will follow in February 2026.
Christie was born in Torquay and remains one of the most celebrated and prolific crime novelists of all time.
